Hersden Community Centre has been at the heart of the community for many years.

We are a small charity with a big heart, providing all aspects of social support to our local community.  If its a friend your after or need some assistance with a professional service we are here to help. Our team will always act with professionality and confidentially ensuring you get the assistance you require, and if its not something we are able to support you with we will guide or refer you to another agency who can help.

We work on a very close basis with our Local Authorities, Kent Community Health NHS FT.  Independent Charities and Agencies such as the Canterbury Food Bank, ensuring we can always provide the best service.

The centre is owned by the residents of Hersden, managed by a management committee and ran on a day-to-day basis by part time staff and dedicated volunteers.  We offer activities, classes, and provide a safe clean space to meet and create new friendships as we feel this is the most important thing anyone could need.

As a bonus to you, alongside our core support services, we have a number of different sized rooms available for hire (when were not using them) as well as the option to combine them to give even greater capacity.  Whether you need a private meeting room or a large function room with a kitchen for a sit down meal or anything in between, take a look at our centre.
